This website changed my life. It is the project that introduced me to web development and got me first interested in computer science. It was also a lot of fun to make. In high school we had this joke about homemade bling and how if the popular rappers of the the time were really ghetto they would make their own bling. We would take random household objects, bling them out, take pictures and post them on the internet. Ratemybling.net got fairly popular and topped out at 9000 visitors a week during the time it was updated regularly. This was my first real life introduction to the power of the internet. It no longer exists due to lack of payment but the memory and some embarrassing pictures remain.
